Minister of Tourism Moosa Zameer has stated that Maldives aims to become the most sought after country in the hospitality service provider industry.

Addressing the keynote at the signing ceremony of license agreements between American Hotel and Lodging Educational Institute (AHLEI) and Islanders Tourism Academy (ITHA), Minister of Tourism Moosa Zameer stated that the administration of President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has opened the gateway for major investments in the tourism industry. Maldives has established itself as one of the most sought after global tourist destination, highlighted the Tourism Minister Moosa Zameer. He added that the administration is proud to witness the era of human capital development in Maldives.

At the ceremony, agreements were signed by Vice President of American Hotel and Lodging Institute Ed Kastli and Chairman of Islanders Tourism Academy Abdul Rasheed. In addition, a campaign titled, Dhirunba, was also launched at the ceremony.
