Ministry of Youth and Sports has appointed Public Service Media (PSM) as the media partner of the National Youth Awards. PSM was appointed as the media partner of the awards at a ceremony held at PSM TVM Building. The agreement on the partnership was signed by Minister of Youth and Sports Iruthishaam Adam and Managing Director of PSM Ibrahim Khaleel.
Speaking after signing the agreement, Youth Minister Iruthishaam Adam said that the enormous opportunities being provided by the government for youth is evidence of the priority given by the Government of President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom for youth empowerment. Minister Iruthisaam expressed confidence of holding a successful awards with the assistance of PSM.
Speaking after signing the agreement, Managing Director Ibrahim Khaleel stated that PSM will always support the Ministry's endeavors to develop and empower youth. Meanwhile, Deputy Managing Director of PSM Mohamed Ikraam Abdul Latheef said that the current administration has done more for youth than any of the previous administrations.
National Youth Awards will be conferred in 11 categories this year. Nominations for the National Youth Awards can be submitted till the end of this month.
