Management of Tree Top Hospital has revealed that the aim is to make Tree Top Hospital a nationally and regionally renowned and trusted medical service provider.
Speaking to PSM News about the project, CEO of Tree Top Hospital Grant Muddle said that the aim is to provide contemporary services with the assistance of the state of the art equipment. The hospital is designed for the convenience of Maldivians, added that CEO of Tree Top Hospital Grant Muddle.
Revolutionary changes are expected to be brought to the health care service sector of Maldives with the establishment of Tree Top Hospital in Hulhumale'. Management of the Tree Top Hospital hopes the establishment can garner recognition as the best medical services provider. Tree Top Hospital project is an USD 80 million, estimated to be completed by end of the year. The hospital will be launched with state of the art health facilities, including specialist, super-specialist consultations for patients.
The hospital is the largest private health care investment conducted in Maldives. The six-storey Tree Top Hospital building is developed along with an eight-storey support building which would contain accommodation blocks for staff. Both buildings have now been developed, with work underway to procure and install machineries and equipment. The management of Tree Top Hospital claims that the healthcare facility will provide regionally notable services.
Some notable services to be provided by the hospital include specialist services, emergency centre, dialysis centre and state of the art laboratory services. While efforts are underway to inaugurate the hospital by the end of the year, the management of Tree Top Hospital is also working on conducting training programmes for the staff. According to the company priority is given to Maldivians when hiring staff for the Hospital.
Even though the hospital will initially be opened with 156 beds, it is designed to accommodate 210 patients. Development of the Tree Top Hospital will conclude by the end of the year.
