President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom and First Lady Fathimath Ibrahim have arrived in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on an official visit.
The current visit is made by the President and First Lady on special invitation from the President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. On arrival at Dubai International Airport, the President and First Lady were received by Minister of Climate Change and Environment of UAE Dr. Thani Ahmed Al Zeyoudi.
President Yameen is on a 3-day Official visit to the United Arab Emirates where he will meet key leaders in order to further strengthen and diversify trade, increase technical and financial assistance, and further accelerate socioeconomic ties between the UAE and the Maldives.
