Managing Director of ADK Hospital Ahmed Affal has said that the hospital prioritizes locals when recruiting doctors.
Speaking on the weekly talk show of PSM News, "Maldives Today", Managing Director of ADK Hospital Ahmed Affal assured that when hiring staff, the hospital always give priority to locals.
Raising concern about local doctors not returning back to the country after their studies, Managing Director of ADK Ahmed Affal encouraged Maldivians to return to the country and serve in the country. In order to enhance their career ADK provide scholarship opportunities and training, Affal said.
As a healthcare provider, human resource is the biggest challenge, he said, adding that healthcare providers are facing a global shortage.
As a result, every service provider looks for high grade staff, ADK MD said, noting it will always remain a challenge for the healthcare service providers in Maldives, whether it is a private facility or a government facility.
Since its introduction, ADK Hospital has been dedicated to provide quality healthcare for the community, promote wellness and restore health for patients as swiftly, safely and compassionately as possible. In the year 2013 ADK launched a 23 million dollar development project which mandates time bound development for the hospital. Since then, ADK has brought pronounced advancements to their services.
