The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Maldives Dr. Mohamed Asim has sent messages of condolence to the Foreign Ministers of several affected countries, following the devastation caused by Hurricane Nate.
In his messages to the counterparts in the United States of America, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Honduras and El Salvador, Minister Asim expressed sadness over the loss of lives, injuries and extensive damage to property, caused by the Hurricane.
On behalf of the Government and the people of the Maldives, Minister Asim extended deepest sympathies to the Governments and the peoples of these countries and conveyed sincere condolences to the members of the bereaved families.
