Maldives gets listed amongst Registered Travel Service providers in airports of United Kingdom and other European countries.
The service would be convenient for locals who travel frequently and would allow Maldivians to go through immigration process via specified counters allocated for UK and EU travelers at airports. The service would enable Maldivians to go through airport immigration without landing cards as well.
The service will be applicable for Maldivians at Gatwick Airport, Heathrow Airport, London City, Loughton, Stanstead airport, Manchester, Birmingham, East Mid-London and Edenborough airport. It will also be applicable at Euro Star Terminals, including Brussels, Lille and Paris.
Maldivians with e-passports would be able to get the service at the selected counters in specific airports and terminals once they register for the service online. United Kingdom has only provided the service for 40 countries. Maldivians are given the opportunity to attain the service starting from October 5.
