The annual conference of the Conservative Party of United Kingdom has concluded at Manchester.
A delegation of Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM) participated in the conference. At the annual conference, the delegation spoke on strengthening relationship between PPM and the Conservative Party. In addition the delegation also highlighted on the development agenda of President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom. On the sidelines of the conference, the delegation of PPM met with various high level personals, including Secretary of State for International Development Priti Patel and Parliamentary Under-Secretary at the Department for Transport Martin Callanan.
The Maldivian delegation, led by parliamentarian and the Secretary General of PPM Dr. Abdulla Khaleel, was accompanied by parliamentarians Jameel Usmaan and Ahmed Shiyam.
