The Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Mohamed Asim has extended greetings and felicitations to the government and the people of China on its National Day Celebration.
In a message to Minister of Foreign Affairs of China, Wang Yi, Minister Asim stated that as China celebrates the joyful occasion of the 68th National Day, it gives him great pleasure to extend felicitations and sincere good wishes to the Government and the friendly people of China. The Foreign Minister noted that Maldives and China have enjoyed strong bilateral ties over the years.
Minister Asim said as close friends and partners in development, he is pleased to note that the close relations have strengthened further in recent years, through increased exchanges between the two countries. He concluded the message by conveying best wishes for the continued peace, progress and prosperity for the people of China.
