The gala night of World Travel Writers Conference (WTWC) 2017 has concludes at Adaaran Select Hudhuranfushi, with the launching of the 2018 edition. At the gala night, Managing Director of Public Service Media (PSM) Ibrahim Khaleel launched the World Travel Writers Conference 2018 which is set to be held in April next year.
The gala night of WTWC 2017 was held to bring together the participants, including writers, photographers, bloggers, as well as partners and sponsors of the conference. The night began with some participants of the conference going up on stage and speaking about their experience during the WTWC 2017.
Managing Director of PSM, Ibrahim Khaleel conferred awards for writers of WTWC 2017 to appreciate the writers who joined the first ever travel writers conference organized by Maldives TV. Vice Chairman of PSM, Ibrahim Hilmy conferred appreciation awards to sponsors while board members conferred awards to local tourism stakeholder partners.
Speaking after WTWC 2018 was launched, Director of Marketing and E-commerce Ibrahim Nasreen said the 2018 edition will go beyond Maldives and plans to expand the event.
WTWC is a conference organised by PSM for international travel writers and tourism operators of Maldives. WTWC is an initiative by PSM to cater to tourism operators of Maldives by providing a platform for the exposure of their services and products.
