Delegates of the World Travel Writers Conference (WTWC) have begun arriving in Maldives.
WTWC is a conference organized by Public Service Media (PSM) for international travel writers and tourism operators of Maldives. WTWC is an initiative by Public Service Media PSM to cater to tourism operators of Maldives by providing a platform for the exposure of their services and products. WTWC conference which is scheduled to kick start in Bandos Maldives on 17th of this month has its Gala Dinner Night scheduled at Adaaran Select Hudhuranfushi for the 18th.
The delegates of the conference are arriving from various parts from the world, including India, USA, Russia, Philippines, Ireland, Britain, Netherlands and Italy. The delegates have high expectations from the conference and expect to weave a strong network to deliver the maximum output to the Maldivian tourism sector.

Famous institutions in the tourism industry have been signed as partners of the event and several high-profile corporations like Maldives Association of Tourism Industry (MATI), Maldives Getaways, Liveaboard Association of Maldives with Maldives Customs Service and Maldives Immigration are taking part in the event.
On arrival, delegates described Maldives as the optimum host destination for such a gathering and stressed on the importance of having such conferences. The partners of the event include relevant ministries, government companies and non-governmental organizations as well as established businesses in the tourism sector.
