Maldivian to expand flight operations to Hangzhou city

The national airline, Maldivian, has revealed plans of expanding flight operations to Hangzhou city.

Hangzhou is the capital of Zhejiang Province of China which is among one of the most popular vacation spots located in South-East China. The city is known for its beautiful landscapes and is one among the seven ancient capitals of China.

Maldivian will commence the flights on September 15, where the first flight from Hangzhou will land at Velana International Airport at 0620 hours. Maldivian currently operates international flights to 6 cities of China, Bangkok, Dhaka, Trivandrum and Chennai. Moreover, they are currently researching to extend routes to South Africa.
