The World Heart Federation (WHF) has elected Tiny Hearts of the Maldives as a member of the Geneva based nongovernmental organisation.
The organisation is now working to formulate a strategic action plan to ensure the work is conducted most effectively in collaboration with the WHF, Secretary General of Tiny Hearts Maldives, Jeehan Mahmood said. She said Tiny Hearts Maldives aims to expand the scope of work to accommodate more services.
Tiny Hearts Maldives is a local nongovernmental organisation dedicated to assist children born with congenital heart disease. The organization conducts numerous prorgammes, which include providing consultations for patients.
The World Heart Federation is committed to uniting its members and leads the global fight against heart disease and stroke, with a focus on low-and middle-income countries.
