Hotel Asia Exhibition and International Culinary Challenge 2017 is set to begin this month with a record number of exhibitors.
This year's edition of the Hotel Asia exhibition is scheduled to be held from September 18 to 20, with the culinary challenge taking place from September 17 to 20 at Dharubaaruge convention centre in Male' City. 600 participants would occupy 175 stalls, with over 2,000 brands from 35 countries showcased during the exhibition, according to the organiser, Maldives Exhibition and Conference Service (MECS).
The International Culinary Challenge will also take place alongside the Hotel Asia Exhibition. The culinary challenge has established itself as the premier culinary event in the Maldives, attracting chefs from local and international resorts whose work and creativity are evaluated by experts, including celebrated chefs from the world over. Over 700 chefs in 22 categories will participate in the culinary challenge this year.
