Techstars a worldwide network that helps startup entrepreneurs, concluded a training programme in the Maldives.
The 2-day training by U.S based company, Techstars was organized by Ministry of Economic Development and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). 35 individuals, including officials from business centres established in the atolls, took part in the training programme.
During the training, Registrar of Companies, Mariyam Visam noted that the training would assist youth startup entrepreneurs to launch successful ventures. Speaking about the training programme, Regional Manager of Techstars, Anoorag Maloo said that the training covered ways in which startups can launch successful ventures in islands.
Techstars was founded in Boulder, Colorado in 2006. Techstars operates accelerator and development programmes in several countries.
