MI College holds a blood donation camp

The Thalassemia Society of Maldives and MI College have held a blood donation camp.

The camp was inaugurated by Chairperson of the Maldivian Thalassemia society Farsan Mariyam Suha. The organisers revealed that the camp's core objective is to disseminate information about blood donation and providing an easier route. This year's camp saw sessions from various partners regarding non-communicable diseases and diseases such as cancer.

In addition, sessions were taken by experts from Ministry of Youth and Sports, cancer society, Maldives Red Crescent (MRC) and Society for Health Education (SHE) on topics such as upbringing children. Special sessions by Maldives Red Crescent were taken to deliver first aid information.
