Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Mohamed Asim has thanked the Ambassador of China to Maldives, Wang Fukang for his sincere contributions during his term in office in Maldives.
While addressing the farewell reception held for the Ambassador, the Foreign Minister highlighted the invaluable contributions made by China over the recent years to the socio-economic development of Maldives. Minister Asim appreciated Ambassador Wang's sincere contributions and commitments on facilitating the exchange of high level visits, mega projects conducted with the assistance of Chinese Government and economic development cooperation between China and Maldives during his term.
The farewell reception organized by Chinese Embassy in Maldives was attended by ministers, members of the Parliament, diplomats and high level officials from government and private sector. Minister Asim attended the reception as the chief guest.
