The Indian Embassy in Maldives has organized an Indian Cultural event to mark 70th Independence Day of India.
The cultural event which was held at Billabong High International School was organized by the Indian Cultural Centre and showcased various activities varying from dances such Tabla and Daandiya. In addition, other musical events were also carried out to mark the occasion.
Addressing the event, the Indian Ambassador to Maldives, Akilesh Mishra highlighted the importance of building a team to work together to bring success to the nation. The Ambassador also highlighted and thanked the Maldivians for the warm and cordial friendship and kindness they provide for all the indians in Maldives.
The cultural event was attended by a large crowd of Indians residing in the capital city Male'.
