A world class beach club to be developed at Emboodhoo lagoon

Thailand-based Singha Estate Company Limited revealed that a world class quality beach club will be developed at Emboodhoo lagoon in Maldives.

While the project consists of total two phases, the first phase of the Emboodhoo Lagoon Project will see the development of 3 islands. The first phase of Emboodhoo project would include international franchise restaurants and retail outlets, entertainment outlets, recreational facilities, and leisure and lifestyle boutiques. The project will also see the establishment of the first ever township development in the country, which will boast an international standard yacht marina.

The tourism industry is expected to boost with the establishment of the beach club. The beach club will consists of several restaurants, kid's facilities and spa facilities. A luxury yacht marina is also to be developed at the Emboodhoo Lagoon.

The agreement to establish two world class restaurants at the Emboodhoo Lagoon has been signed, according to the developers. Singha Estate Company Limited also revealed that a staff quarter accommodating 1 thousand 500 staffs will also be developed at the first phase of the project.

The Emboodhoo Lagoon Project is conducted as part of the Integrated Leisure and Recreation Destination Resort Concept of the government. The 800 million U.S. dollar project, contracted to Singha Estate Company, will see the development of 9 islands.

The first phase of the Emboodhoo Lagoon Project, estimated to cost USD 331.5 million will see development of 3 islands by July 2018.
