The first ever Emergency and Critical Care Conference, Criticon Maldives 2017, organized by Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) has concludes in Bandos Island Resort.
Criticon Maldives 2017 was held with the aim to bring together doctors, nurses and inform them of the latest emergency care techniques and medicine. Over 160 participants attended the conference, according to IGMH.

The conference saw discussion sessions, information sessions and workshops held for participants by experts in the field of emergency and critical care techniques and medicine. While the conference was open for participation to all doctors and nurses of the country, IGMH states that they plan to hold similar conferences regionally as well.
The conference and workshop were attended by 17 professional from 7 countries, including the President of Asia Pacific Association of Critical Care Medicine.
