International Islamic awareness symposium to be held in September

The second International Islamic awareness symposium is scheduled to be held on September 23, according to Islamic University of Maldives (IUM)

International Islamic awareness symposium 2017 would highlight topics such as management, leadership, inventions and Islamic finance mechanisms. Core objective of the symposium is to establish and develop the fundamentals of Islamic Finance through aspects such as new inventions, techniques and leadership, according to IUM. The symposium would provide a platform for researchers and high personnel of the field to discuss and evaluate aspects in which this field can be further developed, IUM further revealed.

In a press conference held to disseminate information on the symposium, Chair of the symposium, Dr. Dheeba Moosa revealed that three high level foreign experts from the field are invited to participate in the symposium.

The symposium is open to the public and has application window open until August 23. The symposium which is all set to commence on September 23 would be held at the hall of the Islamic university. IUM revealed that papers would be prepared in Dhivehi, Arabic, and English at the symposium.
