Ooredoo Maldives announces successful second quarter of 2017

Ooredoo Maldives has announced a successful second quarter of 2017, as the telecom company celebrates its 12th anniversary in the Maldives.

Ooredoo Maldives reported an 8% growth in its total customer base in the first half of 2017, which rose to 400 thousand customers. Revenues climbed by 15% to USD 921.4 million from USD 801.9 million. Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortization grew by 19% to MVR 526.8 million from MVR 442.1 million. Net Profit grew by 21% to MVR 303.4 million from MVR 250.6 million for the same period in 2016.
