Conrad Maldives Rangali Island won a record number of 22 titles at the World Luxury Restaurant Awards 2017, making it the most awards won by a single hotel or resort in the history of the awards. The World Luxury Restaurant Awards gala ceremony took place at the JW Marriott Hanoi hotel in Vietnam.

In recognition of the resort's outstanding food and beverage offerings, Conrad Maldives Rangali Island was awarded the grand award for Ithaa Undersea Restaurant named Global Restaurant of the Year, an award previously held by Jahn at Conrad Koh Samui in Thailand. Ithaa Undersea Restaurant also won awards in other categories.
21 awards from other categories were also won by Conrad Maldives Rangali Island's Koko Grill restaurant, Ufaa by Jereme Leung restaurant, Vilu Restaurant and Mandhoo Spa Restaurant. With over 100 thousand votes cast for 1 thousand entrants in 78 categories this year.
