Maldives Getaways to hold Travel Trade Maldives annually

Maldives Getaways has announced that Travel Trade Maldives (TTM) fair would be conducted annually.

Speaking to PSM News, the CEO of Maldives Getaways Dr. Hussein Sunny Umar noted that the fair is successful and it would be conducted annually. He highlighted that TTM was held aimed to achieve the target of 2 million tourist arrivals per year by 2020. By reaching this target, USD3.5 billion in receipts would be achieved annually.

The International Travel Trade Fair consists of four major components. The major component of TTM that connect the travel community of Maldives is the Hotelier Summit. With over 200 tourism professionals in attendance, attendees included resort and hotel general managers, resident managers, key hotel owners, International travel trade stakeholders and travel industry professionals.

Simultaneously with the Hotelier Summit of TTM, the meetings component of TTM began at the National Art Gallery on Wednesday. International Travel agents and tour operators have been flocking the hall of the Art Gallery where deals and contracts are drawing up every 15 minutes with prescheduled meetings.

As the last component, Adaaran Select Hudhuranfushi will host the TTM 2017 gala night. This event will be a social gathering of over 200 travel trade industry professional due to be held on the 13th of July 2017.

More than 300 hoteliers, suppliers, related industries and travel professionals from Maldives and abroad are expected to visit TTM to network, negotiate and discover the latest industry opinion and trends in Maldives.
