MACL wins Indian Ocean's leading Airport at WTA 2017

Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) has won the Indian Ocean's leading Airport at the 2017 World Travel Awards. From 2012-2017, MACL won the award sixth consecutive times.

At the ceremony held at Aqua Vilu Reef, the award was received by the Managing Director of MACL, Adil Moosa. It is noteworthy that current government is conducting several development projects at the Velana International Airport, operated by MACL. With the number of tourist arrivals increasing annually and surpassing 1 million, the Maldivian Government is looking to expand the main international airport in Maldives.

Additionally, Trans Maldivian Airways (TMA), which operates the world's largest seaplane fleet, was named Indian Ocean's Leading Seaplane Operator, and Simply Maldives as Indian Ocean's Leading Travel Agency.
