State Bank of India (SBI) has unveiled the mobile banking recurring deposit service. This service was unveiled by Governer of Maldives Monitory Authority (MMA) Dr. Azima Adam in the Finance Forum which commenced at Dharubaaruge Convention Centre.
The service which is named as "S.B.I Maldives Anywhere", would deliver fast and efficient service in providing information of the user's account and updates, and policies and regulations of the bank. SBI stated that this service is intended to people who save as money in deposit.
Talking at the unveiling ceremony of this service, CEO of SBI Dheeraj Kumar highlighted that Maldives has always been one of their keen interests and has been servicing in Maldives 40 years. SBI established their banking services in Maldives in February of the year 1974. Branches of SBI are spread over in 30 countries worldwide.
