MATATO to hold first ever PATA Programme in Maldives

MATATO in association with Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) will hold the first ever PATA Human Capacity Building Programme in Maldives from 12 - 13 July at Bandos Island Resort. MATATO said the two day training camp with world renowned branding experts and award-winning story tellers would target marketing and branding executives on how to create stories to enhance brand identities.

The training boot camp will explore innovative ideas and opportunities that connects brands with people. The training titled "Exploring the Art of Storytelling" will feature speakers such award-winning Canadian Director and Cinematographer as Kyle Sandiland, President of Professional Travel Bloggers Association Matt Gibson, Head of Growth at Triip.me Trevor Weltman, Founder of Scott Experience Dung Mos Dang and CEO of PATA Dr. Mario Hardy.

This is the first PATA Human Capacity Building Programme to be conducted outside its home base of Thailand. The programme, based on the successful PATA Academy event held in December last year at the association's Engagement Hub in Bangkok delivered an intensive and interactive training programme incorporating a series of classroom interactions conducted by leading travel industry experts coupled with practical activities, group assignments and networking opportunities.

Participation costs USD 399, but MATATO members are eligible for a 10% discount while students are given a 30% discount. As a limited number seats is available, registration will be confirmed on first-come-first serve basis.
