President sends condolences to the Pakistani Prime Minister

President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has sent a message of condolence to the Prime Minister of Pakistan His Excellency Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, following the deadly attacks in Parachinar, Quetta and Karachi.

In his message, the President said that it was with deep shock and sadness that I learned of the series of deadly attacks in Parachinar, Quetta and Karachi, causing the tragic loss of lives and grievous injury to many.

“The Government and the people of the Maldives strongly condemn these cowardly acts of terror in the strongest terms and express our firm resolve to stand together with the Government and the people of Pakistan in the fight against terrorism in all its forms and manifestations. The Government and the people of the Maldives join me in conveying our deepest condolences to the members of the bereaved families during this difficult time,” the President said.

President Yameen concluded his message by asking the Prime Minister to convey sincere sympathies to all those who have been injured in the attacks.
