Hotelier Maldives has announced plans to recognize and honor employees in the tourism sector with the "Hotelier Maldives Award".
There are no awards that specifically recognize employees working behind the scenes to deliver memorable guest experiences and thus, Hotelier Maldives Awards seeks to address this deficiency through hosting annual functions with number of categories and recognizing outstanding employees, according to the statement released by Hotelier Maldives.
The categories for the inaugural Hotelier Maldives awards includes; general manager, salesperson, marketing and PR person, F&B manager, executive chef, safety and security person of the year and young hotelier of the year. Nominations for the awards can be made through the Hotelier Maldives website; hoteliermaldives.com.
Hotelier Maldives highlighted that the winners will be decided by an independent panel expert judges, ensuring the integrity of the awards. The nomination window for this award is will be open at the end of this month.
In addition to the awards Hotelier Maldives decided to re-launch the bi-monthly print edition as a monthly issue later this year.
