President ratifies 14th Amendment Bill to Export Import Act

President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has tratified the ‎14th ‎Amendment Bill to the Export Import Act.‎ The Amendment was passed by the Parliament at the 6th ‎sitting of its ‎second session, on 14th June 2017. Following ratification, the ‎Act has been ‎published in the Government Gazette.

The amendment brought to the Act reduces the duty charged from petrol and diesel to 5%. The change is now implemented following publication on the Government Gazette.
