Various local products will be introduced to the International Market at The China Kunming Import and Export Fair 2017 scheduled to commence tomorrow, according to Ministry of Economic Development.
Speaking regarding the Kunming fair, Deputy Minister of Ministry of Economic Development, Adam Thaufeeq stated that along with the Economic Ministry and relevant authorities of the government, four companies are participating at The China Kunming Import and Export Fair 2017. The delegation from the Maldives is headed by the Deputy Minister of Ministry of Economic Development, Adam Thaufeeq.
Furthermore, the Deputy Minister added that the works of the Maldivian pavilion designed to showcase the tourism sector and local lifestyle is completed. Officials from the Business Centre Cooperation will also take part in this year's Kunming fair. At the dates of Kunming fair, government officials from Maldives are set to meet with Yunnan Province officials.
Last year, Maldives participated in Kunming Fair as the Country of Honors. The fair will begin tomorrow at Kunming Dianchi International Convention and Exhibition Center of Yunnan Province. The China Kunming and Export Fair is a platform to promote tourism and display the Maldivian traditions and cultures to the International Market.
