Director General of Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) Adil Moosa has assured that outlets of top fast food brands will be opened at Velana International Airport.
The Airports Company is working to bring the top fast food franchises in the world to the building which is being constructed near the Domestic Terminal.
Speaking to PSM News, Adil Moosa assured that Pizza Hut, Mövenpick and KFC gave their full commitment and that they are ready to open new outlets at Maldives. He also noted that discussions were currently underway to bring more top franchises. MACL expects that at least four international franchises will be established within this year.
Velana International Airport already features a number of international fast food franchises including The Pizza Company, Dairy Queen, Burger King, The Coffee Club and Thai Express.
