First Ambassador of Ireland calls on Foreign Secretary

The first Ambassador of Ireland to the Maldives, Brian McElduff, called on the Foreign Secretary, Dr. Ali Naseer Mohamed.

At the meeting held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs this afternoon, Foreign Secretary congratulated Mr. McElduff on his appointment and exchanged ideas in enhancing cooperation between both countries and reflected on ways for strengthening the existing ties, especially in areas such as trade and education.

The Foreign Secretary was accompanied by Additional Secretary, Dr. Marium Jabyn and Assistant Director at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Shiuneen Rasheed.
