Maldives participates in Holy Quran competition held in Turkey

Maldives has participated in the Holy Quran Memorization and Recitation competition organized by Turkey.

Al Qari Al Hafiz Abdulla Mufeed would be representing Maldives in the competition. He will be participating in the Hifz, or Quran Memorization category.

The competition begins today in Istanbul. This is the fifth time the competition is being held.

The contest aims to promote the Quranic culture and encouraging memorization and recitation of the Holy Book.
