Six companies given licenses to take pilgrims to Mecca

Ministry of Islamic Affairs has issued licenses for six companies to take pilgrims to Mecca, for the Hajj pilgrimage. The six companies include Maldives Hajj Corporation and five private companies.

The private companies are; Dharuma Lil Hajji Wal Umrathi Private Limited, Al Haramain Hajj and Umrah Company Maldives Private Limited, Kiswa Private Limited, Sisilfar Hajj and Umrah Group Private Limited and Zaee Hajj Group Private Limited.

Each of these companies have been granted a quota of 100 pilgrims, while state owned Maldives Hajj Corporation has been granted a quota of 500 pilgrims. Maldives has received a Hajj quota of 1000 pilgrims, according to Islamic Affairs Ministry.
