Government announces Business Centre Cooperation Board

The Government of Maldives has announced the Business Centre Cooperation Board.

According to a tweet posted by Privatisation Board's President Mohamed Nizar, the Enterprise Development Specialist at Minister of Economic Development Salih Hussain was appointed as the Chairman of the board. The Value Chain Capacity Building Specialist at Economic Ministry Ahmed Mumthaz was appointed as the managing director of the board. Other Board Directors include Hassan Miras, Saadhaa Mohamed and Ali Nashid.

Business Centre Cooperation Limited BCC was formed on 20th March 2017 by a President Decree to provide assistance and to develop Small and Medium Enterprises (SME). The BCC is a 100% government owned company which was formed to operate SME related business centers, and to promote and support SME's throughout the country.
