MTCC posts a net profit of MVR 5.8 million during first quarter

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has a net profit of 5.8 million rufiyaa during the first quarter of the year.

A total of MVR 306 million were spent on sales, according to MTCC's financial statement for the first quarter. While the gross profit of the first quarter was MVR 51 million, the operating profit was amounted to MVR 18.3 million and the profit before tax was MVR 6.8 million.

The financial statement records that trade and other receivables sum up to MVR 740 million while they received MVR 5.8 million as net profit this year.
