Maldives Consumer Fair 2017 has begun at the National Art Gallery. This year, 15 companies participates in the fair.
Maldives Consumer Fair 2017 was officially inaugurated by the Chief Executive Officer of Maldives Ports Limited Ibrahim Abdul Razzaq Haleem. Addressing the inaugural function, Ibrahim Abdul Razzaq Haleem said that such fairs provide a useful platform to promote local businesses. He also noted the importance of conducting such fairs in other islands as well. Addressing the function Managing Director of Blak Maldives Ismail Husham noted that this is the fifth consecutive fair being held by the organization.
The biggest shopping festival to be held in Maldives is a free-entry exhibition open for public that showcases a variety of household consumer products ranging from electronics, food and beverages, and fashion and lifestyle, by popular and established brands in the market. This exhibition is a platform for all retail and wholesale businesses to showcase their entire product range, and conduct special promotions where visitors get to enjoy free sampling.
