State Trading Organization (STELCO) has introduced its own brand of water to the market.
The "Stelco Water" bottles were launched at a ceremony at the STELCO headquarters. The water bottle was launched by Minister of Environment and Energy Thoriq Ibrahim and Managing Director of STELCO Abdu-Shukoor Salih. The water is produced via the heat from generators and environmentally friendly methods, according to STELCO. The "Stelco Water" will be available in 5 sizes, including 330 ml, 500 ml, 1 litre, 1.5 litre and 5 litre bottles.

Speaking during the launching of the water bottle, the Environment Minister thanked STELCO for the initiative and expressed hope that the mechanisms will be set up to recycle the water bottles produced by STELCO. Speaking about their new venture, the Managing Director of STELCO said that for the past 25 years their staff has been consuming the water. He assured the water is safe for consumption, adding that it is produced and packed to quality standards.

The water will be sold for wholesale from STELCO and has also revealed the prices of the water bottle on their social media platforms.
