Maldives National University (MNU) has begun preparations for the country's first ever International Research Conference. The conference titled "Theveli 2017" will be held from October 2nd to 3rd with the theme "Towards Sustainable Society".
In a press conference held at MNU, the Vice-chancellor of the university, Dr. Ali Fawaz, said that papers in different fields can be submitted by local and international experts during the multidisciplinary conference. Dr. Ali Fawaz said the main purpose of the conference is to provide a platform for researchers. The research topics for the conference will be correlated to issues concerning Maldives, he added.
MNU says papers in Dhivehi, Arab and English will be accepted during the conference. According to MNU, field in which papers can be submitted include Politics, Policy, Law and governance, business management, tourism hospitality, environment and technology, religion and arts and culture.
