Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Mohamed Asim has visited the Embassy of Maldives in Pakistan.
During his visit, Minister Asim met with the Ambassador of Maldives to Pakistan, Ahmed Saleem and interacted with the staff of the Embassy; and noted with appreciation the assiduous contribution by the Embassy to strengthen bilateral relations between the Maldives and Pakistan. Minister inquired about the challenges faced by the staff in undertaking their duties and brainstormed on ways to improve the institutional capacity of the Embassy.
Furthermore, the Minister expressed appreciation to the Ambassador and his team for the close relations they maintain with the Maldivian students residing in Pakistan, especially those in Islamabad.
