SABAH Maldives invites members to participate in KIWIE 2017

SABAH Maldives has extended invitations to members to participate in the Korean International Women Invention Exposition (KIWIE) 2017.

The exposition scheduled to be held in South Korea's Seoul from the 8th to 11th of June aims to facilitate sustainable development and co-prosperity for women inventors by establishing a global network of women inventors, capacity building, introducing markets and protection of intellectual property rights.

SABAH Maldives is a co-operative society, with a 40% share by Maldivian Home-based Workers and 60% share by the Government of Maldives. According to the Economic Ministry, participating in KIWIE 2017 would be a learning experience and networking opportunity for local women inventors. Members of SABAH who wish to participate in KIWIE 2017 are to register with the ministry by 25th April.

SABAH Project is funded by the SAARC Development Fund (SDF) and implemented by the Ministry of Economic Development.
