National reserve of Maldives rises to record levels: MMA

Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA) has said that the national reserve of Maldives has risen to record levels at the end of February 2017.

The national reserve of Maldives at the end of February was at US$516.8 million, while useable reserve was at US$213.3 million, according to the monthly statistics published by MMA. MMA said that it was a 6 percent increase when compared to the monthly statistics.

The increase of the national reserve is parallel to the national income of Maldives, according to Maldives Inland Revenue Authority (MIRA).
