Maldivians - 9th highest number of visitors in Sri Lanka

Maldives has been included in the top ten travel markets of Sri Lanka for the first two months of 2017.

According to Sri Lanka's Ministry of Tourism statistics Maldives is the 9th biggest market for the country's tourism.

During the first two months of 2017, 10765 Maldivians travelled to Sri Lanka.

During the same period last year however the number was much higher with over 12 thousand Maldivians visiting Sri Lanka.
