The Spokesperson at the President's Office, Ibrahim Muaz has said that it will not falter in the efforts to bring development to the country.
In an official press release, Muaz accused the opposition of working to obstruct the government's development efforts, citing that nothing will stop the government from achieving its ambitions of developing the nation.
“The government's development efforts will be conducted according to the and prudently to ensure it does not cause the citizens any problems,” Muaz said in the press release.
The opposition is working to hinder proposed development projects in the atolls as reprisal for the government's earlier intervention of the opposition's efforts to tarnish the country's reputation and boycott tourism, the spokesperson said.
