Chinese Ambassador calls on Foreign Minister

Chinese Ambassador to the Maldives Wang Fukang has paid a courtesy call on Foreign Minister Dr. Mohamed Asim.

During the meeting held at the Foreign Ministry on Sunday, Minister Asim and Ambassador Fukang discussed ways to further strengthen the strong bilateral ties between the two countries.

This year marks the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Maldives and China.

Foreign Minister Asim was accompanied at the meeting by Ambassador Ahmed Khaleel, Secretary Bilateral, and Ahmed Fazeel, Director at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
