Improving services provided by the courts is essential for strengthening the justice delivery system, Chief Justice Abdulla Saeed said on Sunday. He made the remarks at the opening of a symposium organised by the Department of Judicial Administration (DJA).
“It is pivotal to strengthen the administration of courts in order to improve the quality of the judicial system, the Chief Justice said. “The overall performance of the judiciary will depend on the administrative efficiency of courts.”
Discussions at the symposium are centered on ways to further improve the management and administration of the courts and strengthen the justice delivery system, according to DJA.
Judges and senior officials of the High Court and other superior courts are attending the symposium.
