The Foreign Service Institute of Maldives (FOSIM), in collaboration with the Ministry of Economic Development, Maldives Immigration, Maldives Police Services and the Prosecutor General's Office, on Thursday conducted an information session on anti-human trafficking.
Participants were oriented on the international legal framework and related laws, guidelines on victim identification and victim assistance and protection, according to the FOSIM.
The discussions held were centered on the progress made towards counter trafficking, the remaining challenges and ways of addressing the challenges towards combatting trafficking, it added.
