UNFPA Country Director pays farewell call on Foreign Minister

United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) Country Director Alain Sibenaler on Thursday paid his farewell call on Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Mohamed Asim.

At the meeting, Minister Asim thanked Mr. Sibenaler for his contribution to the development of the country during his term from October 2013 to February 2017.

Mr. Sibenaler congratulated the Government for the work on the National Human Rights Action Framework and sustainable development goals. Discussion also focused on current projects between the Government of Maldives and UNFPA.

Minister Asim was joined by Additional Secretary Dr. Marium Jabyn and Desk Officer Ms. Aishath Fareena.
