Maldives named preferred destination among Chinese tourists

The Maldives has been crowned the most preferred international luxury travel destination amongst wealthy Chinese tourists.

The Hurun Best of the Best Awards 2017 is based on the results of the Hurun Report Chinese Luxury Consumer Survey 2017.

The Maldives topped the list of the Preferred International Luxury Destination, followed by France and the United States.

The survey revealed that travel is the number one leisure activity for the richest in China.

This is the thirteenth consecutive year Hurun Research Institute has revealed the brand preferences, consumption habits and lifestyle trends of China's wealthiest individuals.
